Marriage Equality and Families:  The debate over the meaning of marriage and family continues as America awaits the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality. Barbara Risman, UIC professor and head of sociology, can comment on how changes in society have erased boundaries and standard definitions of gender, marriage, and family.
